Shipping & Delivery Policy
Dispatch & Handling All orders are personally packed and despatched by Melanie from her studio in Hastings. We aim to ship orders on the same day where possible, and typically within 1–2 working days. If you require an item urgently, please contact Melanie directly via email before placing your order.
We continually review the delivery options to keep costs as reasonable as possible, while making sure your order has the level of protection it needs.
UK Delivery
Orders up to £74.99 — Royal Mail Tracked 24 | £4.65
A more economical tracked option, particularly suitable for pocket squares and smaller scarves.
Royal Mail aims to deliver Tracked 24 parcels on the next working day after dispatch, although this is not a guaranteed next-day service.
Orders £75.00–£119.99 — Royal Mail Special Delivery | £10.50
For higher-value orders, I use Royal Mail Special Delivery, providing the additional insurance, tracking and security I feel is important when sending your purchase.
Orders £120 and over — FREE UK DELIVERY
Complimentary delivery is offered on all UK orders of £120 or more. Your order will still be sent using an appropriately tracked and insured service, at no additional cost to you.
European Union Delivery
Laslett England ships to all EU member states via Royal Mail International Tracked, with an estimated delivery time of 3-5 working days from dispatch. Times may vary by country.
Shipping costs A flat shipping rate of £15.00 applies to all EU orders. Free shipping is available on orders over £175.
Express Delivery If you require express delivery, please contact us before placing your order at melanie@laslettengland.com and we will arrange a DHL courier quote for you.
Duties, VAT and import taxes - All applicable duties, VAT and import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout. There are no additonal charges due on delivery - what you pay at checkout is the final amount.
Customs Clearance - International shipments may occasionally be held for customs inspection. This is outside our control and may cause delays beyond the estimated delivery window. We appreciate your patience should this occur.
Please note: Laslett England ships from the United Kingdom. As a result, all EU orders are subject to import regulations. By collecting duties and taxes at checkout, we aim to make your experience as seamless as possible with no unexpected costs on delivery.
Returns Please note that duties and import taxes are non-refundable. If a parcel is refused or undeliverable and returned to us, any shipping costs may be deducted from your refund. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details.
International Delivery
Laslett England ships internationally to selected destinations using a tracked service.
International delivery charges are calculated according to destination and will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Delivery times vary by country and may be affected by local customs procedures. Orders sent outside the UK may also be subject to import duties, taxes or customs charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the purchase price or delivery charge and, where applicable, are the responsibility of the recipient.
Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
Why we use Tracked & Insured Delivery
I know that delivery costs matter, so I regularly review the services I use and look for ways to keep postage as reasonable as possible.
For smaller orders, I am pleased to offer the lower-cost Royal Mail Tracked 24 service. For higher-value purchases, however, I believe it is important to use a service with the appropriate level of insurance and security.
It may not always be the least expensive way to send your order, but it gives both you and me peace of mind that your Laslett England purchase is properly protected on its journey to you.
